Mica tape, also known as refractory mica tape, is a kind of refractory insulating material, according to the function can be divided into: mica tape for motor, mica tape for cable. According to the structure, it is divided into: double-sided tape, single-sided tape, triplet belt, double film belt, single film belt, etc. According to mica can be divided into: synthetic mica tape, gold mica tape, Muscovite tape.
Types:
1. Double-sided phlogopite tape: with phlogopite paper as the base material, with glass fiber cloth as the double-sided reinforcing material, mainly used for fire-resistant insulation between the core wire and the outer sheath of fire-resistant cable. Good fire resistance, recommended for general engineering.
2. Single-sided mica tape: using phlogopa paper as the base material and glass fiber cloth as the single-sided reinforcing material, it is mainly used for fire-resistant cable as the fire-resistant insulation layer. Good fire resistance, recommended for general engineering.
3 .Three-in-one phlogopa tape: with phlogopa paper as the base material, glass fiber cloth and carbon-free film as single-side reinforcing material, mainly used for fire-resistant cables as fire-resistant insulation layer. Good fire resistance, recommended for general engineering
4. Double-film phlogopite tape: with phlogopite paper as the base material, with plastic film as double-side reinforcement, mainly used for motor insulation layer. Poor fire resistance, fire resistant cable is strictly prohibited.

Motor Mica Tape
The insulating material of the motor is determined by the material with the lowest heat resistance grade among the main insulating materials used.Insulation materials commonly used in motors are divided into A,E,B,F,H and C six grades according to their heat resistance.
